How We Start The Process Of Creating A Website For Your Business

Being in the industry of making business websites has taught us one important thing. It is utmost important to have a strategic plan of action.

Here at I Design Station we believe in the importance of having a transparent communication with our clients before we initiate any design. Please continue reading so that you can get and idea and feel to how we approach things.

First of all, we will set up an in-person meeting or video meeting and discuss a plan with you that you would like to achieve and the goal that you expect to have of having your own business website.

We want to know who you are and get to know your business.  By doing so we will have a more clearer understanding of what best fits your online needs before we start with a design for you.   It is during this time that we will start creating a mockup website ( dummy website ) in order to demonstrate to you if it’s something within the means of your visualization that you want.

Of course, by this time in the process we have already established the fact that it is a go and all signed contracts have been established.  For the most part during this initial process a time frame of about 1 to 1 and a half hour would most likely be taken.

Once we have discussed all the ins and outs of your website design and have agreed on a particular design layout, it is then that we will proceed to the next step which involved the graphics side of things and what will be the best use of them to make your website come alive visually.

The big take of our starting process is this.

  1. Communication with our client.
  2. Getting to you know you and your business
  3. Devising a plan of action
  4. Establishing an agreement between you and us on the final design stage.
  5. Understanding that you will need to participate in the process, especially when it deals with providing certain type of content for your website. Remember we are your designers and will need you in order for your website to be successful.
  6. Understand that it’s a process and things will get done on a planned start date and end date.
  7. Final result of a tested website that is fully functional on any of today’s latest browsers as well as Iphones, Tablets and devices that can display a website.
